3rd Lesson Setting Main Rotor Head
第三課 主旋頭之設定
This is the most fundamental part of setting up a RC Helicopter. If you cannot adjust this part rightly, you better find some qualified person to do it for you. Or else, you may risk yourself in learning wrong habit in controlling the RC Helicopter.
這是調整RC直昇機的最基本,如果這個也搞不好,還是找人搞把,因為這個搞不好,會直接影響到你玩直昇機時的錯誤手勢(玩壞手),到時你想學回正確手勢時我相信是更難,!!

It is my habit of first setting a stright line of 50% in pitch curv setting. Such setting will make sure no matter what input of throttle stick, the pitch output will be at 50%. 我的習慣,先在pitch curv. 調出一條直線在50%,因為這樣就不怕因推到油門推杆而set錯主槳之0度.. |

After connecting the battery,make the servo horn horizontal to the yellow line. 接上電後,把servo角set至水平.. |

Even the best servo from the best brand may still have slight deviation. Therefore, you may have to use sub trim setting of your RC controller to make the servo horm parallel to the yellow line. 當然就算是一隻最好的servo也會可能有一點偏差的,所以用sub trim 調至一個最水平的角度(即90度).. |

The next step is to set the linkage rod to the main rotor head. Make sure the main blade is at 0 degree after setting. 現在就要用推杆set到主槳成0度.. |

From the picture, I hope you can see the red, yellow, blue and green arrow are for adjusting the pitch of the blades. The black and white part is usually set by the factory. The effect on pitch by adjusting red, yellow stick will be more significant then by adjusting the blue and green stick. In addition to this, when the main blade is at 0 degree, the mixing arm, washout control arm and swashplate should be horizontal as well. 同時要注意的是,主槳set至0度時圖中三個箭咀指着的mixing arm,washout control arm 和swashplate 要水平!!! |
